The whole crying without eyes thing, it kinda reminds me of these creatures from back home. They froze into stone whenever anything was looking at them, so they covered their eyes like they were crying in case they looked at each other.

But the rest of that poem thing was just weird.

That does sound a little like the poem.

It can't be singling me out, though; why would it? It's got to be about more than the Angels.

Or maybe whatever's doing this is plain barmy.

That's what they're called: the Weeping Angels. 'Cause they look like angels crying.

Oh, I see.

But there's no way of knowing if the poem was about them.

Well, not unless we find the thing doing this and make it tell us.

I am investigating the matter, but there's little to go on.
