[Sam frowns at the state Rose is in. He doesn't like how pale she looks, and can't help but think maybe he could have done something to prevent it.]

I think so.

I am bloody knackered.



Where are ya?

[That's a very good question. Sam looks around for a moment, idly scratching at him temple.]

The second floor hall, I think. Close to the common room.

[He must have collapsed when the dream began.]

Oh! Ya gotta be righ' near me, then.



Are, uh, you gonna be up 'ere for a while?

Yeah?

[Oh man. He knows that tone of voice...]

Sam. I'm fine.

[He just sounds and looks tired.. or shaken.]

Are you alright?

Uh- [A light sigh as he assesses the damage.]

Yeah, I'm fine.

Yeah, peachy.

[No, no he's not.]

You get the number on that astral plane bus?

[That makes two of them]

No. What the hell happened back there, Dean?

Beats me. All I know is I feel like I went ten rounds with a brick wall.

Yeah, tell me about it.

Well, I know one thing. Sleep's definitely off the table for a while.

[He stifles a yawn and tries to agree simultaneously. That...works out well.]

Do you think it's still around?

[Some clicking and shuffling noises can be heard before Leopold starts speaking. He sounds as haggard as everyone else, and his voice is more than a little strained.]

I believe I am doing this correctly. It is a strange device, and one I would like to examine further. Is it some sort of telegraph?

[Leopold clears his throat, remembering that he’s supposed to be speaking to Sam about Sam.]

I am as well as could be expected, thanks to your ministrations. The wound remains, which has convinced me against my will of the nightmare we shared.

You sound tired. I hope you are not unwell. I regret not being of more use during the…encounter.

[Leopold stops awkwardly, uncharacteristically unable to think of anything reassuring or at least polite to add. He has been deeply shaken by this series of events, and the wound is causing him more pain that he wants to admit.]

Leopold, right?

[He remembers the voice]

Are you- wait, you're actually still hurt?

[Leopold has not been able to resist fiddling with the device and has turned on the video without realizing it. His eyes are hollow, and he clearly hasn't shaved recently, but he's trying to sound normal.]

Indeed. There is no suppuration, and your stitches hold, but it is still very much a bullet wound. That we experienced a corporate hallucination or dream seems fantastic, but the physical evidence appears incontrovertible.

[Sam stares for a long moment, wrapping his brain around that little gem of information.]

I've never seen that happen before.

Can I, come take a look?

[Leopold still doesn't realize that his video is on, but now the feed is showing the wall and what could be a sheet or piece of clothing. He sounds the same as before, perhaps a little put out.]

As I said, the wound appears to be healing properly, but I am not opposed to further examination. My room is on the third floor, at the end of the hallway.

I'll be up a little later, okay?

How are we defining 'alright'?

Uhm, I guess I'm not quite sure. [He sounds stupid amounts of tired, just like everyone else around here.]

Did you have any weird dreams last night?

I don't remember falling asleep. [ Not that that's an answer to his question. ]

[Yeah. You're helpful B( ]

Oh. Then I guess it was just a few of us.
