[The voice cuts in halfway through a sentence, low and considering. He doesn't seem panicked, but the speaker rarely does when under stress.]

Pavel, if you find this message, it's Hikaru. I saw your video log, and all of your stuff is here, but uh... You're not. The Enterprise is fine, as far as I know, we're still in orbit around the planet in the Shi'zai Belt - Kirk and McCoy went down to take plant samples. You had bridge duty just like I did. Maybe we've been swapped or something, some sort of time lapse I'm not aware of - I have no idea, man. I was on duty, and now...I'm here.

If you're back on the Enterprise, you'd better water my plants. You have instructions, and I just got that small nocturnal one to flower, dammit.

Hikaru, is it? It seems that we share a problem. I've been placed in a room that's quite... girlish, and is stuffed to the brim with my friend's clothes.

...I suppose you don't see the problem yet. Right. To the point I go! My friend herself- her name is Rose- is nowhere to be found. There. You see, now, eh? We're practically twins! Problem paternals! Issue identicals!

...No? No. But I'm sure we can help each other. I'm The Doctor, by the way.

Thanks! ...Well, neither of us have accomplished much of anything, so more appropriately, thanks for what you will inevitably accomplish in the hopefully-near future.

Righ'. An' no, I don't know where we are. Like I said, our problems are the same. That established, Rose is blonde, great smile, very clever. ...I suppose cleverness can't quite be seen right away, could it? I mean I saw it right away in her, but that's because I'm The Doctor. I couldn't expect the same, exceptional intuition from you. No offense!

Youuu... haven't seen a big blue box anywhere, 'ave ya?
