[Rose stares analytically at a point above the camera; she's propped the journal in front of a mirror. She inspects herself for a moment- individual strands of hair, the corners of her eyes. She seems to find nothing of interest.]

Question for the lot o' ya. Are we gettin' older? Agin', I mean? All these months, and I honestly can't tell. I mean, my hair's been growin', but my actual age... huh.

That's hard for me to say, since I don't age. A more significant amount of time would have to pass before I'd be able to see a change in one of you, as well.

It is an interesting question, though.

Interestin'. Soooo, if your life never ends... d'ya judge the passage of time based on other people, then?

I judge the passage of time in relationship to historical eras. For example, the Victorian Era, or the Industrial Age, or the Cold War.

Until recently, I could not have much contact with humans, so basing it on their passing lifetimes was impossible. Most of them died too quickly regardless, especially before the invention of modern medicine. It's a bit different now.
