[Video] I'd like to think that she can operate a camera. Hopefully.
Trillian here, reporting live from a completely bizarre kitchen situation. Can you believe this? [She picks up the camera and runs a slow circle around kitchen before it ends up back on her.] I'm a little overwhelmed, aren't you? It's tough sorting through all of the nervous energy and excitement that comes with new places.

Anyway. There's a pantry here, and a fridge, [She tuuuuurns the camera to get a quick shot of both objects, and then back to her.] and I'm really hungry, but they won't open. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get inside? Are they childproofed? I always had trouble with those bottles.

Thanks!

They won't open? Seriously?

Do you know how to pick a lock, Trillian?

Negative, Livingstone. Do you? I'm great at maths! Astrophysics! I dated the President of the Universe.

Locks, though? Not really in my repertoire, I'm afraid.

I do if I have the tools. Which I don't seem to. I'll take a look anyway.

President of the Universe? So you're an astrophysicist? That must be interesting work.

Can you unlock something with a hairpin? I have one of those. Where'd you learn to do that, anyway?

It turned out to be surprisingly applicable later in life.

want to spam it up?
I can give it a try. I forget my house keys a lot. Learning to pick the lock seemed easier than calling a locksmith every time.

With the space travel, right?

I would LOVE to spam it up :]
Is it a short-term memory loss problem? Those can be really tough! I'm sorry!

Right. With the space travel.

[Vaughn arrives in the kitchen shortly after.]

"Trillian?" [he asked, catching sight of the woman standing in the kitchen.] "Hi. Good to meet you in person." [He held out his hand to her.]

[She takes his hand in a casual, quick shake, and releases it with a small smile before turning her attention back to the fridge. Running a hand along the door's hinges, she turns her head to the side to examine it.]

"This is different from misplacing your house keys, but maybe we can figure something out. I feel like I'm starving to death."

[Nodding and reaching back to run her fingers through her ponytail, after a moment of struggling, her hand emerged with a bobby pin in hand. She held it out to Michael.]

"I'm feeling good about this. You seem like a guy who knows what he's doing... right?"

"I'll do my best," [he said reassuringly, taking the pin from her. He knelt in front of the pantry door and stuck the pin into the lock, wiggling it around. It seemed like a fairly standard lock, and he should be able to pick it, but for some reason, it wasn't working.]

"Well. This is weird," [he said dryly.]
